HAVYT Is Live: Training, Recovery and Symptoms in One App

After months of building, testing, changing things, breaking things and rebuilding them, HAVYT is finally available. And that feels pretty surreal to write.

HAVYT started with a simple problem: health and fitness apps collect an enormous amount of data, but very few actually help you understand what all of it means, especially when training, recovery, pain, stiffness and everyday life affect each other.

For people living with conditions such as ankylosing spondylitis, that gap can be even bigger. So we built something different.

What is HAVYT?

HAVYT is a health, fitness and consistency app designed to bring the different parts of your day together: training, recovery, sleep, pain and stiffness, mood and stress, food, habits, medication and movement.

Instead of looking at each of these things in isolation, HAVYT gives you one place to track them and start understanding the patterns between them. The goal isn't to obsess over every number. It's to make the data useful.

Why we built HAVYT

Living consistently isn't always as simple as following a perfect workout plan. Some days you feel strong. Other days your body has a different plan. That is particularly true when you're dealing with chronic pain, stiffness or a condition such as ankylosing spondylitis.

A normal fitness app might tell you that you missed a workout. We wanted HAVYT to help answer a more useful question: why?

  • Sleep. Was it worse than usual in the days before?
  • Stiffness. Has it been building gradually rather than arriving suddenly?
  • Stress. Have you been carrying more of it than normal?
  • Training load. Did something change in how much, or how hard?
  • Routine. Has anything else been different over the last few days?

Not every pattern means something, and an app can't replace a doctor or tell you exactly why a flare happens. But bringing your information together can make it easier to notice changes that would otherwise be easy to miss. That became one of the core ideas behind HAVYT: understand more, adjust when needed, keep moving forward.

More than a workout tracker

Training is a big part of HAVYT, but it isn't the whole app. You can use HAVYT to log workouts and mobility sessions, build consistency, track habits and follow your progress over time.

But you can also record how your body actually feels: pain, stiffness, energy, sleep, stress, mood, recovery and more. Over time, HAVYT can use these signals to help you see patterns across your lifestyle instead of showing you another dashboard full of disconnected numbers.

Meet Emelie

HAVYT also includes Emelie, the AI assistant inside the app. Emelie is designed to help you make sense of your information, answer questions about your HAVYT data and make the app easier to use.

Think of it less as another chatbot and more as an interface between you and the information you've been collecting. As HAVYT develops, this is an area we're especially excited to keep improving.

Built for consistency, not perfection

One principle has influenced almost every part of HAVYT: consistency matters more than perfection. That is why HAVYT includes streaks, XP, achievements, events and other ways to make showing up feel rewarding.

But we don't want a missed day to make someone feel like everything they did before suddenly counts for nothing. Real life isn't perfectly consistent. Neither is recovery. Neither is training. HAVYT is designed around continuing, adapting and building momentum over time.

HAVYT and ankylosing spondylitis

Ankylosing spondylitis has been part of the story behind HAVYT from the beginning. That's why HAVYT includes features designed around tracking things such as pain, stiffness, flares, movement, recovery and lifestyle patterns. We call this part of the experience AS Mode.

It doesn't turn HAVYT into a medical device, and HAVYT isn't intended to diagnose a condition, predict medical outcomes with certainty or replace professional medical care. Instead, the goal is simpler: help you keep better records, understand your own patterns and have more useful information available when making decisions about your health and lifestyle.

Your data should lead somewhere

Tracking only becomes useful when you can actually do something with what you've collected. That's why we're working toward HAVYT being more than a daily logging app. The bigger vision is to help you understand questions like these.

  • Difficult days. What tends to happen before them?
  • Consistency. Am I actually becoming more consistent?
  • Training. How does it relate to how I feel afterwards?
  • Symptoms. Have they changed over the last few weeks?
  • Habits. Which ones seem to coincide with better days?
  • Appointments. What information would be useful to show my doctor?

HAVYT won't pretend that correlation automatically means causation. Bodies are complicated. But having better information is a much better starting point than relying entirely on memory.

This is version one

Launching HAVYT doesn't mean we're finished. Actually, it's almost the opposite. It means HAVYT can finally start being shaped by the people it was built for, whether that's someone starting from zero or someone managing a chronic condition.

We already have a long list of things we want to improve, refine and build. Some ideas will work. Some probably won't. And some of the best features may come from things we haven't thought of yet. That is why feedback from the first HAVYT users matters so much. If something feels confusing, tell us. If something feels unnecessary, tell us. If there's something you keep wishing HAVYT could do, tell us that too. Everything we ship shows up in the release notes.

Thank you to the first HAVYT community

Before the app was even publicly available, people joined the HAVYT community, followed the development and signed up to try something that technically didn't exist yet. That support mattered more than you might realise.

HAVYT has gone through a lot of iterations to reach this point, and seeing people genuinely interested in what we're building made it much easier to keep pushing forward. Now the real chapter starts.

HAVYT is live

If you're looking for a better way to bring your training, recovery, symptoms, habits and everyday health data together, you can finally try HAVYT for yourself. Create your account, complete your first check-in, log your first workout or mobility session, and start building your own history.

Because the longer you use HAVYT, the more useful that story can become. Welcome to HAVYT. We're just getting started.

HAVYT brings your training, recovery, symptoms and habits together in one place.
